Clinton Fitzgerald, or Kélak dal Fiitan is a Kniit diagnosed with Bok’s syndrome. Every day is a struggle to keep his body from breaking, only barely helped by his gravitational aura. Thus unable to follow the footsteps of his brethren in physical strength, he turned to technology and engineering, eager to study remnant tech— the ancient technologies that were still pristine even after unfathomable ages left abandoned to the mercy of time. So now a physically stunted, sickly frail adult, he started looking for work in the salvage industries, and applied for a job on The Prospect as a scrap mechanic and researcher of remnant tech so that he might be able to get a more hands-on experience of all the magnificent technology discovered by the known galaxy, and its capability to work efficiently and beautifully with the mysterious natural power in every being called auramancy.

But there's a human saying: "Man Plans, God laughs". Once he went on board, a promotion was pushed into his lap so that they can get a much-needed engineer in to fix all their problems on board the ship.

In all fairness, the pay's good, the work is engaging, and the crew are friendly. Now if only the civil unrest in the Radiant Ascendancy didn't spread out to Clinton's home...
